| Green Scene’s mission is to link community members across generations and cultures by combining organic gardening lessons with multidisciplinary arts education. To do this Green Scene recruits youth and elders to grow urban gardens together and unearth their artistic impulses by experimenting in the gardens with storytelling, theater, music making, and dance. While exploring healthy earth practices, healthy eating, and a healthy expression of self, these Green Scene teams produce both an abundant vegetable harvest and performances for their community in their living theater garden | ||
